DescriptionThe Audioquest FLX-X Splitter RCA male/female cable comprises one male RCA connector and two female RCA connectors. This cable is ideal for connecting the mono LFE output of a home theater amplifier to the RCA inputs of a subwoofer.
Audioquest has used a special copper, called Long Grain Copper (LGC), whose particularity is to offer very low distortion, less than conventional oxygen-free copper. LGC copper contains few oxides and impurities, and its structure is more regular. Audioquest FLX-X cable uses polyethylene insulation for the conductor, under vacuum to eliminate signal distortion. A metal foil completely surrounds the polyethylene sheath to protect the signal from possible radio-frequency interference from your installation. Finally, no solder is used to crimp the cable into the gold-plated connectors, again to add no distortion.
