How do i post an ad?

It's easy, to place an ad, you just have to click on "+ Create an ad" then log in or register. There, you will have to fill in the proposed fields. Here is how to write my classified ad. The more the ad is well filled, the more it will be highlighted on the site and the faster you will be able to sell your equipment.

How much does it cost to post an ad?

Publish an ad is free. However, a 7% commission fee will be charged ONLY in the event of a sale. This is clearly detailed during the creation of your ad.

How to post an ad at the right price ?

Many ask this question. It could be challenging to set the right price of an ad. Indeed, it is a second-hand equipment so it depends on the age, the number of uses, the presence of a guarantee, the same material on the market without forgetting the weight if you want to send it by carrier.
Regarding shipping costs, you can simulate the price in the tab "Transport labels" directly from your account. Note that currently the country of departure or arrival is limited to either France or Spain.

How long does the ad stay on the site?

Your ad will remain on sale for as long as it takes. Once sold, it will continue to appear in the "sold ads". You can also modify, duplicate or delete an ad, directly from your customer account.

How to modify an ad?

Your ad can be modified at any time, the title, description, photos, price, etc... To do this, you just need to log into your account and go to "Ads". All you have to do is click on "modify". Our team will re-publish your ad.

Payment

How does AV-Market secure the payment?

AV-Market.com works with Stripe, an internet payment platform. Stripe is a partner of world class sompanies such as Delivroo, Mano mano, Booking.com etc.
When a payment is made, the buyer's funds payment is hold by a "trusted third party", i.e. AV-Market. The payment is released to the seller account, only when the buyer has validated the conformity of the equipment receive.

What payment method do you accept?

You can pay for your order by major credit and debit card such as Visa, MasterCard & American Express.

Buyer: During the payment, I receive the authentication request from my bank with an amount of 0.00 euro. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. Indeed, it is a credit card imprint, there is no debit when you receive the code from your bank, that explains the 0.00 euro. The debit is made afterwards, when the seller accepts your order. Your payment will be held by us until you validate the conformity of the material received.

Seller: The material has been shipped, why don't I receive payment?

Once the equipment has been shipped, the buyer must confirm the conformity of the equipment. Conformity is automatically confirmed after 15 days if the buyer has forgotten to do so. Once conformity has been validated, payment to the seller's bank account is triggered and the transfer takes place the next day at 01:00 am (excluding weekends).
Attention: there is a minimum of 7 days between the acceptance of an order by a buyer and the payment to the seller's bank account.

Order

How is an order processed?

It's very simple, once the order has been placed, the seller sends the parcel to the buyer or the buyer picks up the equipment from the seller. If the seller sends the equipment, he indicates the tracking number of his parcel to the buyer via our platform. In both cases, once the buyer is in possession of the equipment, he must indicate that the equipment conforms to the ad via his customer account.

Seller: The system does not allow me to accept an order.

If you are unable to accept an order it's likely because we have information's missing from your account such as the billing address. To address this issue: please log-in into "My Profile" from there fill the missing information under "Identity", while doing so, we strongly encourage you to fill any missing information on your account if you have not done so.

Seller: How to forward the parcel's tracking to the buyer?

Every steps of the order are updated automatically (Payment, Acceptance, Shipping and Delivery). When you reach the shipping stage, the system will allows you to fill out the tracking URL from of the package.
You will find the tracking URL on the carrier's website. Simply enter the tracking number of your parcel and then copy the URL (at the top of the window "https://www...") and paste it on the AV-Market platform.

Buyer: How do I confirm the good receipt of my parcel?

This is the last step of the order process. Confirm the conformity of the equipment received so the seller can be credited and the order finalized. Simply click on the "Conform equipment" button in your order in your account to complete the sale.

Seller: How do I receive payment of my sale?

Once the buyer has validated conformity of the equipment received (conforms to your ad description), or within 15 days maximum after sending the equipment, we will release the payment, and you (the seller) will receive the fund on your bank account within a 2/3 days business day windows.

What's the purpose of the small flag located next to a certain field?

AV-Market.com is a European platform. In order for your ad to be seen by the greatest number of people, an automatic translation has been set up. Your ad is therefore translated as soon as it is created. By clicking on the small flag, you can modify this automatic translation. Attention, if you modify your ad afterwards, you will have to modify the translation as well.

What is the "PRO" logo I can see on certain ad?

The PRO logo refers to "Pro certified" label issued by AV-Market.com. Professional sellers who benefit from it must fulfil certain obligations described on the page I am a professional seller. This certification allows buyer to distinguish between individuals and professionals. Professionals must, as example, respect the Right Of Return which allows you to return the product within 14 days after delivery in order to be reimbursed.
