Equipped with two ESS ES9038Q2M DACs, the Shanling M6 (21) 64GB is a high-performance model, supporting high sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD256. Versatile, it is also compatible with Bluetooth aptX HD and LDAC, as well as WiFi, and can also be used as a USB DAC. With its Android operating system, it can be used to install a wide range of applications, including access to your favorite streaming services. The DAP also features two balanced headphone outputs in 2.5mm and 4.4mm jack formats, plus an unbalanced 3.5mm jack output to suit the vast majority of headphones on the market.

Conceived and designed for audiophiles, the M6 (21) adopts a dual ESS ES9038Q2M DAC to independently process the audio streams of each channel. It also supports high-resolution files up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD256, as well as MQA. Each DAC is associated with a low-noise KDS clock and is filtered by an FPGA chip specifically programmed by Shanling for the M6 (21).

The amplification stage of the Shanling M6 (21) also benefits from two independent amplifiers to feed the balanced outputs, ensuring very low noise levels. A third amplifier feeds the unbalanced output, so you can take full advantage of the dual DAC. The M6 (21) thus offers 3 headphone outputs: 2 balanced outputs in 2.5mm and 4.4mm jack formats, and an unbalanced output in 3.5mm jack. Power development is 350mW at 32Ω for the balanced outputs, and 160mW at 32Ω for the unbalanced output.

The Shanling M6 (21) is equipped with a WiFi controller, enabling you to transfer your music wirelessly, or even play files stored on your network directly, in DLNA. This also gives the M6 (21) access to numerous music streaming services, such as Qobuz, Deezer or Spotify.

The M6 (21) also features a Bluetooth chip for receiving and transmitting audio data to Bluetooth headphones or earphones. This Bluetooth chip supports AAC, aptX HD, LDAC and HWA codecs for maximum compatibility.

With its aluminum chassis, the M6 (21) is light and sturdy, supporting a large 11cm diagonal touchscreen. This allows intuitive navigation through DAP menus and audio files. Audio files can be stored on the player's 64GB internal memory or on an external Micro SD card (not supplied). The DAP is powered by a Lithium-Polymer battery capable of providing up to 12 hours of asymmetrical or 9 hours of symmetrical autonomy.
