The Cowon Plenue M2 is a high-quality audiophile portable music player with exceptional features. It is equipped with a Burr Brown PCM1795 DAC compatible with PCM and DSD, offering audiophile reproduction thanks to premium digital synchronization clocks, thus eliminating any signal drift (jitter) and ensuring precise listening. The headphone output's OP amps make listening lively and realistic, suitable for high-impedance headphones.

The player supports a variety of files, including lossless formats such as WAV, FLAC, DXD, APE, ALAC, as well as the DSD format (DSD64 and DSD128). It offers approximately 9 hours of playback time with a lithium polymer battery, and can be used as an external DAC via its USB port. The Plenue M2 also has an optical output for connecting to other devices, and its Amoled touchscreen makes navigation easy.

JetEffect7 equalization features allow for extensive sound customization, with the ability to adjust volume on a scale of 140 increments.
