The DX120 from iBasso is a high-end digital portable audio player (DAP) offering top-flight audio performance thanks to its intelligent, meticulous design. DAC AK4495, USB XMOS XU208, Quad Core CPU, dual PLL / TCXO clocks and fast charging make the DX120 an ideal companion for your listening sessions at home or on the move.

AK4495 DAC
A major part of the DX120's development has been to make the most of the AK4495 DAC chip. The specifications for this chip claim a THD+N of -105dB. In practice, it's quite difficult to achieve such a value. That's why iBasso engineers have come up with a unique design that achieves a THD+N of -111dB!

Balanced output
For its amplification section, the DX120 uses one AOP per channel, with a totally symmetrical output scheme. The balanced 2.5mm jack output, combined with the DAP's careful architecture, ensures low distortion and crosstalk.

Substantial power reserves
The internal design of this DAP allows it to accompany a wide range of headphones and IEMs, including demanding models. In fact, it offers 400mW of power for a 32 Ohm load, and impressive low-frequency reproduction.

Carefully selected components
The iBasso DX120 incorporates carefully selected components. Beneath its sturdy aluminum shell lies an AK4495 DAC chip capable of supporting high sampling rates, with PCM up to 32bit 384kHz and native DSD128. This chip is combined with a high-performance XMOS XU208 USB interface, a TI BQ25890 MaxCharge chip for managing the device's charge and enabling you to enjoy ultra-fast charging, and finally the PLL and TCXO clock combo for perfect signal synchronization.
