Appreciated for the quality of its sound and the performance of its equipment, YAMAHA extends this great experience to the general public, and its RESTIO dockstation line is a worthy example.

Combining the excellence of YAMAHA sound with a resolutely design approach, RESTIO is a unique audio-stereo concept, offering optimal listening to your iPhone and iPod playlists.

Presenting itself as a square measuring 41cm on a side and 8.8cm deep (weighing 12kg), this dockstation has been designed to fit into any interior.

A veritable sound object, RESTIO can be placed on a wall or perched on a slender metal stand with a half-moon-shaped base, enabling it to fit snugly against a wall and thus reduce its footprint.

The front panel, available in 4 colors (black, white, violet or green), features a central LCD display that not only shows the time, but also your music selection. This display is equipped with an automatic light dimmer, adapting the backlighting to the light intensity of the room.

Ultra-contemporary, this dockstation accommodates your iPhone, iPod... and its on-board "EXTENDED STEREO" technology reduces background noise and distortion to give you pure sound. YAMAHA has also equipped RESTIO with an innovation that will delight the most demanding listeners: the "MUSIC ENHANCER", which restores sonic depth to compressed tracks.

In addition to its compatibility with APPLE products, RESTIO features a CD player, FM radio tuner, USB port and mini jack stereo auxiliary input, so you can stream your music from any digital audio player.

All controls are located on the top of the unit for easy access. A 2x15 watt digital amplifier powers 2 x 10cm bass-reflex full-range drivers and 2 x 3cm soft-dome tweeters, and a 3-band equalizer adjusts the sound to suit the type of music you're listening to. A remote control accompanies RESTIO for optimum control. Note that the central clock features an "IntelliAlarm" alarm, allowing you to wake up gently to the music of your choice, or to a ringtone with adjustable volume.
